Roads and Bridges

Montgomery County Precinct 4 is responsible for over 850 linear miles of roadway, 1542 linear miles of roadside ditches, and 36 bridges spread across 316 square miles of area. Roadway responsibilities do NOT include any State Highways or areas within incorporated city boundaries. State Highways and Farm to Market Roads are maintained by the Texas Department of Transportation.

Parks

Montgomery County Precinct 4 has many parks available for use by the public. Ed Rinehart Park, Ipes Road Park, A.V.(Bull) Sallas park and Sallas Sports Complex, Tram Road Park, and Tamina Park.

EMC Senior Center

The East Montgomery County Senior Center is housed in a Montgomery County-owned facility and staffed by friendly County employees. We welcome with open arms ALL local senior citizens, age 62 and older to join us daily for meals - continental-style breakfast and affordable hot lunches as delivered through our partnership with Meals on Wheels Montgomery County. In addition to our meal programs, activities include puzzles, board games, dominoes, computer games, and an extensive library of donated books for your enjoyment.

ASSISTANCE IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, FEMA AND D-SNAP

 The office of Health and Human Services will be offering the D-SNAP program in Montgomery County. Starting October 16 and going through October 20th, you can visit with a Health and Human Services representative at 9333 Airport Rd, Conroe, TX 77303

If you have any questions regarding FEMA programs you can visit any DRC and speak with a FEMA representative face to face.

    County operated and managed debris removal will be discontinued on October 16, 2017. If you still have debris make sure it is out for pick up before that date. Contact the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management 936-523-3916 or log on to WWW.MCTXOEM.ORG to report that you have debris in the right of way. Remember to separate your debris and place in the county right-of-way, Do Not Bag Debris. The drop-off site at 242 – Northwest corner of 1314 & 242 – will be closing October 16, 2017 as well.
